LOK-N-ROLL CHROMATIC TUNER FOR LOCKING NUTS, TUNER IS INCLUDED

FEBRUARY 1, 2018

We worked directly with Lok-N-Roll owner, Gregory Decker, to develop their patented concept for mounting a tuner to locking guitar nuts. The main purpose of the bracket is to pick up the instruments vibrations accurately when the strings are locked down by mounting directly to the locking device. Once the two custom screws replace the outer screws on the locking nut the bracket is easy to slide on and off. As Gregory points out, this is great for bands who have their gear ready on stage, including pedal tuner, but are backstage warming up and getting proper tuned.

Bullseye Design Worx helped Lok-n-Roll realize their product idea by reverse engineering current locking nuts, developing 3D CAD models and proving out the design with 3D printed prototypes. We also worked with our partner, Graviton, in China to get the brackets and custom screws produced. Graviton helped greatly to work through logo stamping and laser etching details to get the parts delivered quickly. They continued to help with quality control prior to shipping to the US to make sure the designs met expectations.

The Lok-N-Roll Chomatic Tuner fits Floyd Rose locking nuts and the soon to be released (we hope) Lok-N-Roll compensated locking nut. You can find the tuner set up at Lok-n-Roll’s website. Click on the “Buy Lok-N-Roll Chromatic Tuner” banner at the top of the page.

We help many companies realize their product designs by aiding in product development and sourcing manufacturing either in the US or in Asia. Contact us to see what we can do for your business.
